A few minutes before the start of the match with Russia, the Canadians refuse to go on the ice. And it bothers them.

2. Omicron is extremely contagious and is transmitted in a matter of hours.
3. If there were positive tests in the Russian national team, it means that the virus can manifest itself, and any of our girls will pose a threat.
4. Hockey is almost the only contact sport at the Olympics. Girls collide, huddle at the sides, fight, celebrate, argue, yell at each other. Sorry for the details, but hockey is a sport where snot and drool fly.
And if there is at least a minimal opportunity to protect yourself, then you need to use it. For example, take tests before the match or even put on masks if there is at least one sick person. By the way, a positive test was found just in the Canadians, so we took off the masks, and the Canadians continued the game with complication.
Therefore, we repeat – there is no need to get mad. There are really unpleasant things, like idiotic accusations of doping against Bolshunov. But there are requests, the fulfillment of which is necessary in order to finish this Olympiad alive and well.
