Spartak sports director Luca Cattani revealed the details of the deal with Marseille for defender Samuel Gigot.
Last week it became known that Gigot signed a contract with a French club, but he will spend the rest of the season in the camp of the “red and white” on loan. According to Cattani, Spartak players will earn 500 thousand euros on the transfer of a football player.
“For the transfer of Gigot, we will receive 500 thousand euros. I think Spartak became the first Russian club to earn money for a player who has already lost. I think everything was done correctly in this situation,” Match TV reports Kattani’s words.
As for the rest of the players, then, as Kattani admitted, Spartak is negotiating the extension of agreements with Zelimkhan Bakayev and Ilya Kutepov.
“Bakayev shows himself very well at the training camp. He works hard at every training session, shows a serious attitude to business. I see it, but it’s a little early to talk about Zelimkhan’s contract. We have enough time to discuss this issue. Kutepov? I really like him. I hope he stays. Ilya appeals to me not only as a football player, but also as a person. He’s a really fantastic guy,” Cattani summed up.
