The 31-year-old athlete underwent surgery in a Cincinnati hospital, the Independent reports.The boxer’s father, Robert Easter Sr., confirmed the news to WTOL 11, saying that his son was shot three times after he was attacked by a group of men who demanded money.Former lightweight champion Easter has not entered the ring since February last year, he has 23 victories in the professional ring.
