TASS, February 7. The Russian striker of “Pittsburgh” Evgeni Malkin is included in the covid protocol of the National Hockey League (NHL). This is reported by the press service of “Pittsburgh”.
Inclusion in the covid protocol may be due to a number of reasons, from a positive test result for coronavirus to contact with the risk of infection.
Malkin is 35 years old, he was selected by Pittsburgh in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft in the first round under the overall number two. The hockey player has been playing for the club since 2006. As a member of Pittsburgh, Malkin became a three-time Stanley Cup winner. The Russian missed the start of the current NHL season due to recovery from surgery, since returning to the ice, he has played 12 matches in which he scored five goals and gave eight assists.
