These are difficult times for organizing tennis tournaments, so I am especially grateful to the organizers and volunteers,” the Spaniard added.
Nadal is 35 years old, he ranks fifth in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), he has 90 victories in tournaments under the auspices of the organization. The Spaniard is a two-time Olympic champion (in 2008 he won in singles, in 2016 – in doubles), as well as a five-time winner of the Davis Cup. In 2022, prior to the Australian Open, he won his 89th title at the Melbourne tournament.
Medvedev is 25 years old, he ranks second in the world ranking. He has 13 titles on his account under the auspices of the organization, in 2021 he became the winner of the US Open.
