Khachanov has risen to 27th place in the ATP rankings, Federer’s worst position since January 2001

Russian Karen Khachanov has risen from 30th to 27th place in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), the new version of which is published on the organization’s website.

Khachanov reached the third round of the Australian Open, where he lost to the future winner of the tournament, Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
