A match of the stars of the Avangard hockey club took place in Moscow

MOSCOW, 7 February. /TASS/. The match of the stars of the Omsk club of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) “Avangard” was held on Monday in Moscow at the skating rink on Red Square.

All participants of the event were divided into four teams, which bore the names of the unofficial districts of Omsk – “Aviagorodok”, “Moskovka”, “Nefty” and “Left Bank”. Avangard hockey players played for the teams, including field players Sergey Tolchinsky, Ilya Kablukov, Dmitry Shevchenko, Kirill Gotovets, Vladimir Zharkov, Yaroslav Kosov, Nail Yakupov, Alexei Bereglazov, Nikita Komarov, Ivan Telegin, Alexei Yemelin, Vladimir Bryukvin, Pavel Dedunov, Nikita Soshnikov, Viktor Svedberg, and goalkeeper Vasily Demchenko. In addition, the goalkeeper of the Youth Hockey League (MHL) club “Omsk Hawks” Julian Zvyagin, as well as Olympic champion skier Alexander Legkov and bronze medalist of the 2008 European Football Championship Dmitry Sychev participated in the competition.

At the first stage, the teams competed in competitions, according to the results of which a rating was compiled. After that, the two best teams played the final match, the two worst met in the game for third place. The team “Left Bank” won.

The match was charitable. For each puck in competitions and during the match, 300 liters of fuel were sent to the needs of the Omsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. As a result, 12,580 liters were collected.
